Educational Activities of the Information Centre of the Government
Main tasks of the Information Centre of the Government of the Czech Republic is to inform the public with activities of the Office of the Government of the Czech Republic, to improve the communication between the Office of the Government and citizens and to provide information on activities of advisory and working bodies of the Office of the Government.
One of possibilities how to achieve this objective is to open the Office of the Government to the public through a cycle of educational programmes and establishing cooperation with elementary schools, grammar schools and universities. Our objective is to present the Information Centre of the Government, as an institution which actively cooperates with schools and which is an asset for education of children and youth, and to bring it to the notice of teachers.
In this respect, we offer the educational activities of the Information Centre of the Government as a support of education in the sphere Man and Society, and in particular in the educational programme Education for Citizenship at elementary schools and Civic and Social Science-Related Basis at grammar schools.
